A report by Urban Land Institute and PwC ranked Charlotte as 3rd top real estate market in America.
The main factors that lead to Charlotte’s ranking are the rapid growth in construction, population and economy.
In the near future we will see several real estate developments including a Hard Rock Casino, film studio and numerous high rises in Uptown and Southend region.
“Good job and population growth along with the development of urban centers continues to make the market attractive to residents. Interviewees generally feel good about the Charlotte market, although some did express concern that the concentration of the financial services industry may not offer the same level of growth as other more technology-oriented markets,” the ULI report stated.
Above Charlotte was Dallas and Austin, TX; however in relation to other southern cities Charlotte was unsurpassed.
Real Estate investors are advised to seek out markets like Charlotte. The Charlotte area has more value in investments and boasts lower cost of living compared to markets like NYC, LA and Chicago.
